A Double Entry for New Century Production at Luxor Egyptian cinema and European Festival

After a productive year for New Century Productions full of several remarkable films in 2014, the company takes part at the 3rd Luxor Egyptian cinema and European Festival (24-31 January, 2015). With two of its most recent films; Ot w Far and Decor, New Century will be part of Nights of Egyptian Cinema programme.
Ot w Far marks a strong comeback of the well-established scriptwriter Wahid Hamid after a 5-year hiatus. Directed by Tamer Mohsen, the new feature stars veteran Mahmoud Hemida, Mohamed Farag, with Syrian star Suzan Najm Aldeen. Ot w Far is slated to release across Egyptian theatres on January 21, 2015.
Ahmad AbdallaÂ’s Decor was released in theatres during the last week of 2014, after a successful march across several film festivals worldwide. The film stars Khaled Abol Naga, Horeya Farghaly and Maged El Kedwany.

The 3rd Luxor Egyptian cinema and European Festival is co-organized by Noon Foundation for Culture and Arts (NOONCA), headed by Mohamed Kamel El Kalioubi, and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. This year the festival has selected the French Cinema to be this yearÂ’s guest of honor; this installment will also include two competitions for feature films and short films.
