Al Kenz 2 teaser trailer hits a Million Views on Its First Day on Facebook


The teaser trailer of Al Kenz 2, directed by Sherif Arafa and produced by Walid Sabri, has reached a million views in less than 24 hours, after it was unveiled by United Bros. Studios on the filmÂ’s official Facebook page. The film's new sequel, Al Kenz 2: Love and Destiny, is slated to release in theatres soon.

The sequel continues with the charactersÂ’ fight over the treasure sacrificing either their love or lives. The film reveals the secret of the treasure, its importance and how to preserve it. The sequel will pick up where the first film left off; Queen Hatshepsut continues her fight with the priests and her love for the engineer, Ali Al-Zibq continues his fight with Elkalby and his love for the latterÂ’s daughter, Zainab, which will reveal the price of revenge that he has to pay, and how will General Bashir Pasha, who sacrificed his brotherÂ’s life and his beloved to keep his position, find the treasure and how will his son, Hassan, search for his fatherÂ’s unknown legacy.

Directed and written by Sherif Arafa, Al Kenz 2 is screen-written by Abdel Rahim Kamal, and features an all-star cast, including the stars of Al Kenz; Mohamed Saad, Mohamed Ramadan, Hend Sabry, Ahmed Rizk, Ruby, Amina Khalil, Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Haitham Ahmed Zaki, Ahmed Hatem, Abbas Aboelhassan,Abdulaziz Makhyoon, and Mohy Ismaiel, along with Ahmed Malek and Sara Abdelrahman who joined the cast of the film in its sequel.

The first installment of the film, Al Kenz, was a huge success in the box office and won eight awards at the Egyptian Cinema Film Association Festival, Egyptian National Film Festival and the Arabian Cinema Awards (ACA).
